Free patient informational sessions on GERD and treatments will be held on the following dates:

  - SESSION CANCELLED - Wednesday January 20, 2010 at 6:30PM - Pre-registration is required
  - Wednesday March 24, 2010 at 6:30PM - Pre-registration is required

Scheduling an Appointment with a Surgeon

Prior to surgery, you will need a preoperative appointment with one of our surgeons as well as preoperative testing that may include blood tests, EKG, EGD, ph probe,  and/or barium swallow.  Surgery will be scheduled only after a complete work up and consultation with the surgeon.  A one month post-operative follow-up appointment will be required of all patients.

If you live within the Central Ohio area or are within a reasonable driving distance and would like to make an appointment for evaluation, you can contact 614-293-5815 or 614-293-4499 to schedule an appointment with one of our surgeons. 

If you live outside of the state of Ohio and would like to be evaluated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, you MUST obtain all of the following preoperative tests before we will schedule an appointment with our surgeon.  These tests can be scheduled with physicians in your home area.

• EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy) with retroflex view of the gastroesophageal junction
• pH probe
• Barium Swallow 
  
            *All test results MUST BE full color, hard copies of original test results*
